My '67 has developed a small crack on each door. The crack is located at the bottom of the window opening, where your arm would be. It seems to be a stress crack. I have seen this same crack on many other '67 - '72's. Any idea on what causes these?

I was told that is was from slamming the door and also can be caused from pulling on the wing window to close the door. That's why the '72's have that reinforcement screw.
