Favorite build thread

There was a suggestion made by one of the moderators to get people a little more involved. You can provide a link to your own thread, or maybe take the time to look back through some of the builds from years past. PTC used to be a member here and I always liked his build. No, it isn't my absolute favorite, but it's still a very good one;

Here's a few more;

What's one of you favorites, from our own '47-'59 build forum?

Re: Favorite build thread

i nominate the most overlooked truck on this website.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=459839

he has been up for truck of the month numerous times and hasnt won, he is the Glenn Close oscar story of TOTM. His build thread is a perfect example of building exactly what you want, then changing it whenever you see fit.full of family, loss, resiliency, rebuilding then rebuilding again. I dont want to use using another movie parallel but if his build thread were a film, I would have watched the premiere, watched it again in the theater, bought it on VHS DVD and BLUray and had watch parties with it.

Re: Favorite build thread

Wow, Ricky. I'm flattered you included my long winded thread about a "build" I mostly didn't do myself. Other deserve more a LOT more attention. But again, thanks.

Russ, don't know what to say. Thank you for thinking this about my build, it makes it worth so much when others appreciate what you do. Thanks for the very kind words...Jim

Re: Favorite build thread

you deserve it jim!

you can sort build threads in the project forum by views or replies and yours is in the top 10 both ways, but those numbers can by manipulated by several replies a day, usually because of the 5 image limit per post, or by cross posting on other forums to check it out. so not a foolproof system.

we need portal technology so i can pop by your place or marks and just hang out for sure.
