Hello from MA 1962 CMC panel
Hello all, Well Ive jumped in with both feet and picked up a 62 panel, which is exciting and terrifying. It runs and drives, with a Chev 350 truck motor and 4 spd on the floor. It needs lots of love and I"m hoping to make it a good driver and make it look better as I go. The rear doors have some bad cancer. I"m wondering if anyone makes any door repair parts for the barn doors, seems like they don't. Wondering if maybe I could start with some side door repair panels and modify to work on rears. They do still open and close but...
Does anyone have any pics of their rear barn door restorations. I need encouragement to get these in good shape. Anyway I'll post some pics soon and hello and thanks for any help. Carlo |

Welcome! Good luck with the doors, sorry I'm not any help in that department. It would be fun to see some pictures of your panel though, if you got them handy.

Re: Hello from MA 1962 CMC panel
Welcome, sounds like a great project! Can’t wait to see photos. Meanwhile you should go straight to the 60-66 Suburban (& Panels) forum and I am positive those folks know what’s what about the rear doors.
