66 or 67?? Only SBC valve covers no pcv/oil filler
Found these today,I’m assuming they’re 1 year only??? Not sure, they’re smooth as a baby’s butt. No oil filler holes or pcv provisions. They haven’t been modified and mounting holes are straight across.
Any idea on what value would be? Any idea on application?? Thanks for any input

They are a bit rare, but probably worth the same as the later ones. They have value for staying or going back to all original. They require an intake manifold with oil fill and the pre-PVC crankcase venting. Not sure what original valve covers are going for these days. I'm used to paying $25-$30 for a good set. Maybe more now

Re: 66 or 67?? Only SBC valve covers no pcv/oil filler
Don't see those very often anymore. Thinking GM used those with the internal breather canister from about 1960-1964 or 65. Then GM and other mfgs. started using the PCV system for crankcase ventilation. To the right person doing an early 60s build in original used condition, thinking maybe $40-45 for a good set, restored with nice paint, $60-$75 maybe. Limited market but don't see them a lot at all now days.

I was thinking maybe my prices were a bit outdated. I agree with Mike. I ask $80 for restored valve covers.
