Installing rear seat in 72 Blazer
Hi
I was wandering beat way to find mount holes for mounting rear seat as mine has been covered over by carpet. Can I see holes from underside as I’d think has tank might be in way. I’d like to install but hate to cut up new carpet that covered over holes. Any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated. Also shop threw away bolts and didn’t know what size I need to get at hdwre! Thanks again for any and all help as I’d like kids to be able to ride in Brent |

Re: Installing rear seat in 72 Blazer
You should be able to see the seat mounting holes from beneath the Blazer. You then could push up a small awl or pointed object to find them from above.
You may find some covers on some of the boat locations that look like this. They just snap off and are easily reinstalled you may have to retention a couple of the clips. Most places I have seen are missing them though.

Re: Installing rear seat in 72 Blazer
In my experience the carpet isn't difficult to lift. Why not lift up the carpet and identify the requisite threads? The seat brackets will cover the small carpet holes required.
