1965 K10 Rear Diff Advice
I'm wondering if anyone has any info on which rear diff my 1965 K10 has. I believe that its an Eaton, maybe the Ho35 or 32? It has a split case with a gasket on the front and one on the rear cover and when I went in to change gaskets I'm realizing that my pinion bearings are shot. I would like to rebuild it but have never done the job and don't know what I need to setup properly with the right amount of shims and preload. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I'll attach a few photos of the diff in question.
As a side note I believe that the front diff is a Spicer 5f-44 which needs new axle bearings as well, so chances are I'll need to do a rebuild on both. Which specific tools will I need as well? |

Re: 1965 K10 Rear Diff Advice
The MG tells me it may be a 61-62 K10 4WD 3.90 ratio. I could be reading it wrong?
