It started life as a 350. Now it's a 402 BB, heads, cam, EFI, 700R4.

Re: Sideways Saturday
And you made the top of the page. Very Nice start for page 23 . I had the same feeling about this picture and 'cause I never said we had to stay with 67-72 pickups. Here we are.

Re: Sideways Saturday
Cooper Discoverer AT3 235/75/R16 on American Racing aluminum 8 x 16 rims. I had to use 1.25'' aluminum spacers to get back to vintage backspacing.
They sure feel fine, and now my speedometer [almost] matches my GPS groundspeed. Within 2 - 3 MPH. The rims were kick-outs from my buddy's '99 GMC Suburban. He thought they were too bling for his mood.

N/A. Nowhere. No one has them. So I paid a guy $80 to straighten out the wheel to ''true.'' Then, with the tire dismounted, I saw warning decals inside that this was a Trailer Wheel. And not to mount high speed 235/85 trires on them. Well after about 100,000 miles and 20+ years, I think they're just fine. So I looked for a Trailer Wheel in that size, and found one locally for $68. Now that's my new right rear wheel, and the trued one will be the spare. Originally the truck came with 7.00x17.5 bias tires on 5.25 x 17.5 rims. Unicorn shoes. But they were tall and lean. The 235/85/16 on 6x16 gets about the same ride height and stance.

Re: Sideways Saturday
I'm looking at them for my '72 K5. The BFG's on it are getting old.
