Air bags on a 2WD 72 SWB with Leafs?
Hey.. I have a 72 SWB... it used to be a Longbed, and we chopped the fram, and converted it to a shortbed.
So, All the orig. 3/4ton suspension is still present. It was all rebuilt in the restoration.. but I really want to airbag both the front and rear. The front is independant, and the rear has leafs. Would it be possible to airbag the leafs without much modification? And what would that entail? Does anyone make a kit to do this?

KP customs, Air Ride Tech, Air Lift, Master Image Customs, just the name of a few of the companies making 4 link kits. The best ride and lift is afforded by a 4 link suspension. I personally would never use leafs in an airbag setup but that's just my personal preference.

I know of ppl that run the air over leaf set up and it works pretty good for them. I would just save up and take it to a shop and have them do the back part and do the front your self. You can get a good kit plus the front brackets from www.*****************. He also has four link kits. You can just call him to find out want he can do for you.

I wasn't trying to knock air over leaf as I know it is a solid setup but you just cannot beat the smooth ride of a properly designed 4 link. I'll be happy to 4-link and bag your truck for you. I'm running a little custom shop out with a buddy mine out of a garage about 20 minutes north of dallas.
