How many gallons are our gas tanks?
Just wondering how many gallons my stock gas tank holds...it seems to take ALOT of gas at the pump!
It's a 1971 C/20 Long Bed, original engine was a 350 with a 350. Rick |

Probably more like 20 gallons since I was able to put at least that in my 69 SWB with in cab tank just yesterday.

While we are at it, any guesses about the size of saddle tanks. I don't have any idea if they are stock or not, but they are filled at the wheel well, one on each side.

What about the blazer and burb tanks. I just picked up a tank thats out of a 68 and that thing has to hold over 40 gallons.

I have filled the tank behind the seat on my '68 C/10 pickup to 22 gallons. The Suburban and blazer tanks ... it's hard to get 20 gallons in them.
No matter what the owners' manual says.
