Were any 72 C20 short beds made?
I'm considering buying a 72 C20 which I can only view via pictures (distance problem, as usual). There is no bed on it as PO was gonna make it into a flat bed, so it's hard for me to tell if it's a long or short bed truck. I don't recall seeing any 3/4 ton short beds, but then there are a lot of things I miss these days.
Also can I tell anything from the vin? As always everyone's help and information is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I tryed to order one(K20).The salesman asked,"why would you want that?"My answer now,"I dunno, guess I`m just ahead of the times".You know what I mean? Now you have Dually short beds and they`re puttin` Dana 60/70s and 14bolts in Jeeps & Toyotas(non-factory).Now I want Rockwells!

Wih the exception of some light duty 3/4 ton trucks of recent years...yes, all 3/4 ton trucks were 8 lug.
