wanted - rear seat belt part for a 78 Blazer

I'm looking for the part for the rear seat belt that bolts to the floor next to the wheel well. I just need the driver side.

What color? I have an 86 with gray seatbelts.

I'll take any color. Is the 86 the same? In my junkyard searches I noticed the later models used a different (narrower) style buckle - not sure when that was changed. In my 78 the metal piece that fits into the buckle is about 1.5 inches wide. Does that sound like what you have?

Thanks,
Colin

Sound like mine won't do you any good. The buckle is about 2" wide. The metal tab that fits into the buckle is about 1" wide.

I had the same problem when I converted my 1980 to 1987 belts. I just changed them all.

Dave - thanks for checking.

I thought about changing the back seat to the new style, but my rear seat lap belts are mint - so it'd be nice to find the piece I need.

beaterC10,

You still have those seatbelts? I'm looking for a set for my 79 Blazer.

Yes. The buckles on mine are apparently smaller than the earlier trucks. I have the complete rear set if you were interested.
