Can our trucks be lowered by turning the rear springs upside down?
Just as the subject line ask. My brother told me he had seen it done before on a truck like mine

Maybe by flipping the axle to the top side of the spring, but turning the spring upside down wouldn't work for sure, lol

I have taken the overloads (bottom leaf) and flipped them to compress the rest of the springs, but that when I was much younger and even more stupid than I am now. So it can be done, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

can it be done? yes. will it ride like crap? yes. just do a flip kit, and put the axle on top of the springs.

I'd really like to see what happens to the spring eyes when they're flipped upside down and the weight of the truck tries to pull them open. Will they break like the Mopar A/F bodies or bend open?
