upgrading stock motor

my blazer has a '85 K5 motor in it. im having it rebuilt. i dont want it too powerful, just enough for passing,mudding, and pulling(everyday driver). carbs?intake manifold?cams?headers? just let me know what you all think. and i want to say thanks to all that replied to my last thread, and welcoming me to this site! i plan on installing a 6inch superlift and '35s
