Alternator problems!!
Hi all, I went to start my truck earlier , and it seems as if the alternator has siezed up on me. As soon as I started it, the belt just slipped and squeeled, and the alternator will not turn freely. What sux is that the alternator is a chrome one wire set up. And its only about two years old. I have been noticing that the volt guage has been jumping up and down in the past few days. Could this be a bearing that could be changed out, or is the whole alternator junk? Or could I possibly change out the chrome case? Thanx in advance.
