Thumbs up 79-80 to 73-78 hood conversion???

I know this may sound rediculus (and it is) but very true. My dad and I were grinding out a few small spots on the front of my very nice 79-80 hood that I picked up at the local salvage yard. My dad grinded through one of the holes and noticed some scale. So we decided to cut out the entire front of the hood. We sand blasted it throughly and POR 15'ed the inside webbing of the hood. The rest of the hood was coated in epoxy primer. Now all I have to do is weld in some patch panels and slap a little fiberglass and Z-Grip body filler and I have a correct 73-78 hood. It is such a fun project, I wish the rain would slack up so I could get welding. I'll post pics Wednesday afternoon to show you what I mean.
