New Springs
Well, I ordered a new set of coil springs for the truck Tuesday from Early Classic. 2" drop front and 3" drop rear. I've replaced all bushings in the frontend including tie-rods, center link, discs & spindles. I have yet to replace the trailing arm bushings, but that is next on the list. I got tired of the way the 35yr old springs were riding, needless to say, the six cyl. front springs didn't hold up well to the weight of the 396 (408) very well. It's like riding a buck board driving down the road when you hit a bump!
