Big no on the 10" rim with 12.50s. They leave the rim edges more exposed to damage from rocks and the bead more vulnerable to popping off when aired down compared to 8" rims. Or 8.5". Contrary to popular belief, the 8" rims will not cause radial 12.50s to "crown" and wear more in the middle than at the edges. I run BFG 33-12.50-15s @50psi on the road with no adverse wear characteristics. I used to think 50psi was way too much pressure, but I've since learned that radial carcasses conform to the road surface so well that they won't crown so easily as bias tires will. Especially when dealing with large, off-road tires. Lower pressures allow 12.50 BFGs in at-speed turns to roll under at the outer edges which increases wear at the outer edges compared to the rest of the tire. More of a front tire concern, but not entirely.
