pics of 14BFF axle progress
well i finally got the last parts i was waiting for to get the 14 bolt back together. got most of it put back together last night, still a few odds and ends to do. i'll be starting to put the front back together this week, and i might be sittin on 40's by the end of next week
here is the diff cover in raw form that i got from shawn at greatlakeoffroad. this thing is a beast. 1/2 inch laser cut flange, cover made from one piece of 1/4 inch plate bent on a cnc press and welded at the seems. painted the cover and rear disc brackets light grey. i still need to spray som black paint on the part of the diff flange that the cover doesn't over lap. i'll be shaving about and inch off the bottom lip of the diff itself, eventually got the rear disc brackets from shawn at greatlakes also. laser cut. it turned out so clean i almost don't want to put it in such a crappy looking truck
