Paint Divider Chrome? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm thinking on putting installing the paint divider chrome that goes below the rear window and across the back side of the cab. How is this attached? My truck never had this option. I'm maybe thinking that there are pins that are welded on the cab to install the clips to. Is this right? If that is the case, how would I attached these pieces to the cab seeing that I don't have those pins? Would some type of rivet work? Oh, I do have the clips for the chrome pieces. They look to be made of plastic.
