Thank You 72addict
Thanks 72addict for understanding my need to renege on the NOS Burb door sale. He seems to be a real great guy. Have not meet him personally but I was going to go to his house on Saturday this week and buy a NOS Burb door but I found a truck today and spent the money I had planned for the door plus some. And he was more than understanding.
Yep I bought a rare one today. I think they only made 600 or less of them. Its a 1970 CST 402BB Short Stepside 1/2 ton. I found it in a guys garage that was doing some welding for me. I had on my 67-72 T-Shirt and he said that he had and old 70 sitting in his back garage that he was thinking of selling. Low and behold I fell all over my self when he told me what it was. I need’s work but he has all the parts to redo the whole truck. Right down to the new wood for the bed. So I am going there tonight and drive this baby home. It has the factory tack, bucket seats with the console & tilt. The only thing that is the really wrong is the fact that it has a 67 Cab with 67 doors’ on it. But I needed a 67 cab and have a 69 at home so all will turn out good on that. The truck was in his yard right after he bought it 12 years ago and a tree fell on it. He has the old cab (totaled out but the correct VIN is still there)
