new here just saying hi

hi all
new here just to introduce myself. my name is steve i live in western ky between owensboro, and bowling green. i have just purchased a 69 c-10 step side in desperate need of repair. i also picked up a 71 parts truck with it. this will be the biggest resto project i have ever done. this truck belonged to a freind of mine that was involed in an auto accident that left him in a wheelchair. and when i told him i was going to buy this he was glad to hear it. this was his truck and he started to fix it up but then was unalbe to.

i know i will have alot of questions along the way and hope that someone here can help. we have already stripped the front clip off and sent most of it to the sandblasters, and have already powder coated the radiator support ant the fender wells. as soon as the fenders and hood come back we will do them too.

steve
