After Market Front Sway Bar?!

My search didn't bring up anyone using an after market sway bar for 67-'72's. I spent most the afternoon trying to fit this thing up. It requires bolt on L-brackets and end-links on the front of the lower a-arms vs just bolting to the stock location on top of the lower a-arms.

I don't like the way it is aligning. Anyone else have similar problems with this type of bar? Is it just not going to align very well or have I done something wrong? How about interference with linkage or whatever after installed? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
