Clutch Recommendation: Part II
I've decided on the diaphragm-type clutch (thanx for the help
![]() Does anybody have the so called "Heavy Duty" type diaphragm pressure plate (specificies that it has increased clamping force and increased pedal effort) ? I am removing the Borg & Beck type..my knee will thank me...in favor of the diaphragm one. Will the "Regular" duty diaphragm one bee sufficient for my camper-hauling-around vacation truck or should I opt for the "Heavy Duty" version pressure plate? I figure that even the heavy duty one should be less pedal effort than I have now because of the "over the center" locking ability of the Belville spring construction. Is the heavy duty cover a watse of money over the standard duty version? Thanx again, Bud |
