lift, crossover, new engine build (two week deadline)
Not sure why my projects always end up this way but i commited to take my 72k5 to a carshow in 2 weeks the weekend of the 26th and as it sits today the suspension is all apart, the cross over steer conversion is far from together oh and did i mention my motor is in as many peices as possible in my garage?
Saturday (12th) im driving down to redding to pickup the rest of the lift from greg(Monsterk5) so lift will be done this weekend. Running 4"flip + 8"skyjacker springs with 1"+ shackle in the rear for 13". Up front is getting 10" skyjackers with 1" zero rate for a total of 11". Should be large. Crossover, i still need the steering arms and drag link. Motor, well thats going to the machine shop this weekend to get punched .30 over and i hope to have it running by next weekend. Then all that is left is to touch up and paint my engine compartment while it is still out. Finding the time to do all this while working 50hrs a week... who knows??? Well if anyone is in oregon the show is at the Sublimity Harvest Fest grounds, usually attracts about 300 or so cars mosty hot rods and there is a burn out contest, which i got 1st in last year with my c10. maybe see you there... Progress pics will be posted here later this weekend. Wish me luck and some ambition!
