Roll bar/cage?

Short of contacting a custom fabrication shop, has anyone run across some pre-fabricated kits for 73-87s; namely crew cabs? I doubt it, but I had to ask.

I've often thought about putting heavy steel tubing from door frame to door frame in the middle of my '73 crew's cab to strengthen it during a side impact. With the frame rails being more inward, you don't have much cab protection. Some steel tubing in the middle of the cab to make sort of a brace across, and then perhaps at a tube at the top for rollover/roof protection would be nice as well.

Anyone every gone at this alone?
