LMC Kickpanel Speaker Enclosures

Has anyone installed the kickpanel speakers from LMC? I think they are called "Custom Audio".

I installed the one on the passengers side fairly easily. Had to do a little customizing to get it to fit but not too bad. Then I moved over to do the drivers side and the first thing I notice is that it looks like I will lose my emergency brake. Any way around this short of sending them back? Also what do I need to do about my hood release?

Thanks for any tips or advise. BTW my truck is an '85 C-10.
