My first ever HELLO!!!

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Gerardo Banuelos, my ID is eseloco18, I am 24 years old turning 25 on july 16, reside in San Antonio, Texas, love any and everything that has to do with these trucks (1967-1972 C-10). I've had this attraction to these trucks ever since I first noticed them back in the mid 90's, I had always wanted to have one and for the longest time I couldn't find one that fit my budget, but finally about three years ago I got me one, it is a 69 long bed with a carburated 350, and automatic trans, painted light blue with a white stripe, I have some pics that I could post later on, if you would like to come by and check them out, Last January I decided to rebuild it, and give it to my dad as a gift, being that he himself is also a big fan of these old trucks, I feel he deserves it, having raised me and my four brothers and four sisters, unfortunetly it won't be anytime soon as there is a lot of work in the near future, but before any of that is accomplished I must repaint my 88 GMC sierra shortbed stepside, that one was purchased a year ago and I am now currently in the proccess of repainting it, I have planned to change the cab and front clip to that of a 67 C-10, and keep the 88 frame, engine, drivetrain and of course the bed.
I plan on shaving the rear step off the stepside bed and frenching some caddy taillight into the bed, but of course all in time and with gods blessing, anyway enough of my rambling, I sure am glad that I was finally able to post on here, I had been waiting like a week and a half, but it was worth the wait, this is by far the best website that I have ever been on. I am glad there is other people out there that have the same passion for these beauties as I do. Thanks for reading and hope to meet some good people. Later.
