1950 3100 w/68 - 250 (ci) 4 spd (flr)

Hello Everyone,

Have had this truck for about 15 years now as a work truck.

Blew up the 261 ci (way I got it)

Just put in a 68 El Camino 250 ci 6, hooked right up to the 4 speed (includes granny gear) with special bell housing.

Clifford intake for a Rochester 2 barrel

Dual Truck headers with cherry bombs

Custom made motor mounts.

Wanted to keep the wheels (with hudcaps) and Sterling column, going for that all original on the inside, rat rod look outside with touches of original things here and there.

Wanted to keep the orginal ride height as I want to take camping , fishing etc.

Am working on the back cab corners right now and getting the rear cab mounts re-hooked up (guess they were never re-attached after the front cab mount fix of twleve years ago)

Got a question, what would you recomend for lifting the cab to align for the shackle braket to lign up the the holes behind seat on the inside, just run a 2 x 4 across the bottom of cab and use a floor jack?

What else should I be looking for wile I'm there?

Thanks all!
