Kevlar Brakes and Praise Dyno Brake
For a year now I have been bosting how great these brakes are. I must say I have been very happy with them. When I did an inspection a few weeks ago, I noticed a very minor problem. I must say there was virtually no wear after a year use. I called Praise Dyno Brake just to let them know about the little problem I discovered on one of the shoes, and the Owner John Ambrose answered. I guess he answers all the calls. I told him what I had discovered and told him I was not worried about it because it had really no effect on the effectiveness of the brakes, but I just wanted them to know. He seemed very concerned about the integrity of his product and insisted on sending me a brand new set FREE OF CHARGE. The only thing he asked was that I send the old shoes back when I get done replacing them so he can take a look at them since this was a very unnusual thing to happen with his brakes. There were no questions like did you over heat your brakes, were you doing heavy towing, nothing like that. For a company to back up their product like that after a year is very impressive.
When I originally was looking at the Kevlar shoes I was a little set back by the price, but after having them on my truck it has been well worth th price. Expecially when a company backs up a product like they do. Usually you only hear about a company when something goes wrong. I wanted to make sure John's company got his props for being a awsome company. I just want you to know that if you are thinking about going the Kevlar way, you will be very happy. And if you talk to John tell him that you heard good words from me on the 67-72 truck board. I would like him to know that his excellent service pays off.
