I prefer the 205 but......here is the choices.
203 is for a full time front axle.But,you can get a convert kit if you want to run lockouts on the front end.Which I prefer to use.
The 208 is a 80s model.You might have to use a different front driveshaft.
The 208 is alot lighter.They dont have to be converted to part time 4wd like the 203.
I believe that he has a 205/Th350 there,thats what I would choose.I would beef up the tranny if I was going with a turbo 350 though.It all depends on what all you plan to do with the truck,and if you want lockouts,etc
