The bolts are those square hole carriage bolts, so no power tools, or they will just spin. Use a pair of vice grips, so you can keep down pressure/tension on the bolt as you turn it. Most are not rusted bad and come off easy.
No rubber pads on factory beds. You can add them, but I don't know what they are supposed to do. Maybe quieter? |
