Question Need ignition help

Hi all,
I am working on a 1989 Chevy Blazer that belongs to my sister. The previous owner ran the motor out of oil and grenaded it. We built a new 350 engine for it and just finished swapping it in. We got everything hooked back up and the new engine fired right up. We ran it at high idle to break in the cam for about 20 min and shut it off and restarted it a few times, no problem. Went out for a test drive and it suddenly quit. I checked around and found that we have no spark coming out of the coil. I double checked all connections, made sure theres juice going into the coil but can't find anything wrong. I suspect either the coil or the ignition module inside the distributor. Any other ideas? This is so frustrating! Thanks,
Colby.
