Now time for some upgrades...

So it's like this:

I finally have my truck to a point where I want to start upgrading parts.

Here is what I have:

1962, 283, 350 auto, 2bbl carb, stock points distributor,alternator, everything else is stock,stock,stock...

I plan on keeping the 283 fo awhile, if not forever. My thoughts for the first few upgrades are an hei distributor and a set of headers....

Here's the catch: I don't have the tools to pull the enigine, so...

Will installing the hei unit and headers require pulling the engine?

Will these units fit without any modification?

Any other thoughts?
