New member from Western NY

hey folks
I just joined in hopes that I could share in my love of the old "glamour chevy trucks. OK let me start off by stating I have 2 GM trucks. My current Project is a 67 K/20 it is in good shape for the year and where I live. It will be Reconstructed from several trucks. I have the frame which originally had a 292 / sm 465/ rockwell combo. The good: I found the truck with a newer rust free fleetside box. The truck arrived in a freinds Bone yard entact but with a stroker 383. He needed the motor for one of his Camaros. then sold the cab..
it had been lifted with a stout spring pack and the front axle was replaced with a dana/ spicer disc brake set up. the 465 and rockwell transfer case are there as well as the eaton rear end. and the front clip ( a little crusty) is there in the box. I located a rot free 67 cab from a 3 pedal half ton that had a 3 on the tree. The bad... the cab has some accident damage that rolled the passenger rocker in and took out the cab corner. and some small dents in the roof. all in all in my opinion a good find for western NY RUST BELT.
I need to locate some doors and plan to retro fit a nice early 90's TBI 350 into this beast. I will be posting a thread to keep you all updated on the progress and any questions I have. My first is this...
