calipers backwards/upside down

Wow.....I feel like an idiot. I recently converted to disc brakes in front of my 69. I cleaned up the front end, got rid of all the grease and rust, and painted it. Ran all new lines and hoses. Put everything together and wasn't getting any pedal. I bled the master twice, bled the front and rears and after a month went by, I finally had someone come give me a hand. As soon as he got underneath the front of the truck, he tells me "Of course you have no pedal, the calipers are upside down. You can't get any air out of the bleeder valve like this"
I think I remember reading someone's post on here about that and thinking - I couldn't have done that, could I? I guess I could. Just goes to show me to not take anything for granted when it comes to my mechanical skills. So much time wasted............oh, well. Hopefully it will all be worth it when I get it back on the road.
