Dropped coils.

I am looking at putting ½ ton dropped coils in my ¾ ton. I am looking for a better stance and a smoother ride. Right now it feels like the suspension does not even flex when I hit a bump of a pothole. New Monroe gas shocks have been installed as well as 235/85/16” radial truck tires (came with bias-plies and bead locks for an even stiffer ride and tough cornering.)

I am looking for about a 3” drop. And at a recent automotive trade show I met with Eibach springs and Bell Tech both of which have a very good rep in the suspension business. First off their springs cost about $200 for a pair and the max drop they offer is only 2”. Both manufactures said that any more of a drop on the truck and it would make the ride really rough.

Has anyone used their springs and the cheaper springs from our vendors? Tell me about ride quality and over-all handling. Nothing else is planned at this time.
