HO72 drum removal

I have a 72 c30 wrecker dually with the HO72 rear.

I`m getting information and parts together to do the breaks this spring before I start towing my race car with it. leaking wheel cyl.

What`s the proper way for removing/installing the drum. Just ran a search and not much info on this. I can figure it out I just don`t want my tires/drum/ axle assm passing me at hyw speeds.

Doing a search the socket I need is the KDT2770 correct?

From reading, the shoes, wheel cyl ect..I can get from say napa or the like but prob special order.

The drums are a "good luck finding" item, but My truck only has 20K on it so I`m guessing the drums should be find.....Yes 20k, the original owners, a auto body shop never really used it, and the drivetrain, motor and such lead me to believe it`s true.

Thanks,Mark
