small dilemma

Hi all. I don't post on here much, but I read up a lot of days (kinda shy I guess ) Anyway I was hoping you knowlagable folk could help me out. I have searched and found that most websites recommend a 7-9 inch wide rim for a 255/60/15 tire. Now that tire would be 10 inches wide give or take a few mm depending on the brand. Would it be safe, and look allright running that tire on a 10 inch rim?

Currently I have 295/50 rear and 275/50 front on 15x10 rims all around.
I want my next set of tires to be about an inch taller and an inch narower fr+r compared to what's on there, to better fit in the wheel wells so I was thinking 275/60 rear and 255/60 front.

I'm not sure of the backspacing of my rims, but I'm pretty sure it was the only bs available.

I have included pictures for you all to give any opinions you may have.

Also, I like the look of the bfg's but since I live on the wet coast I need something with a bit better wet rating. These are the tires I'm thinking of, yokohama avid s/t.
Any opinions on these would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks in advance
