Adding power brakes to 1972
I thought I could deal with the non-power brakes in my 72, but now that it's finished and I'm so used to power in everything else I drive, I just have to do the upgrade. All the braking components are fresh, but there is one problem.
-The proportioning valve right off the master leaks out the back a bit. I guess that means I need a booster, a rod, a bracket and a prop. valve. The master cylinder is a brand new unit, and I assume they're all the same for power or non-power? I have a plugged vacuum port on the back of the carb that I can use for vacuum, so that's not an issue. Which supplier can fix me up with all the parts I need to make this thing stop like it should, so I don't have to wear my leg out in heavy traffic?
