Power window rewiring for use without igntion switch
I was sitting in my truck yesterday waiting for a friend listening to the radio (key turned back) I get hot so I turn the ignition switch to on to roll down the power windows. Now I have turn the key back to turn off the ignition just to turn on the radio. During all this the digital guages turn on and off and my CD player face place is turning around and hiding then opening again and the doors lock and unlock.
Has anyone rewired their power windows to work without the ignition switch on? I have one small problem. I have a security system that locks the doors when the switch is turned on for a few seconds. The doors also lock when the security systems is turned on. I'm no electrician but I do have a factory manual to help out with wiring diagrams. Sometimes I miss manual windows. ------------------ Gerardo 1983 Custom Truck TX Plates: "BAD BOW" http://www.geocities.com/abetterchemist/ |
