Running an 8 inch wide rim versus a 10 inch will help in clearance issues as well. A narrower rim will pull the shoulder of the tire in a bit allowing a bit more clearance.

As the others have stated, your real problem is going to be with the front to have the needed room. You may still have to do some trimming on the stock fenders, especially at the back to make them clear even with both a body and suspension lift.

If it was a 4x4, you could fit 35s with 4 inches of lift easily. Since it's a 2wd you are about 2-3 inches behind in ride heght to start with. Good luck with your project, and be sure to post up pics of your truck, and welcome to the board! ...Joe
