I have always been of the opinion holding the brakes cheating. I have driven many pathetically slow 2.7L V6 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 rental cars that will do what you all call a burnout if you turn off the traction control and hold the brakes while you lay down the throttle. You can get a front digger GM rental car like an Impala to do with same if you hold the emergency brake. I mean com’on
Whatever happened to poking it in the neck at a dead stop without holding the brakes to see how far it will burn? Now, that is a burn out.
