Carb Swap Issue...

Hey Y'all,

I am bout to swap out the q-jet carb on my pre 86sb with the Edelbrock 1405Prob I am havin is the orig trottle linkage rod is bout 3/8 in diameter. The mount hole on the 1405 is 1/2" in dia. I did not see any "adapters" or bushings from Edelbrock. Any of ya got ideas on how to rememdy this?

The Q-Jet needs a rebuild and I've not ever done one. Dont mean I can't. Its just the Crewie is the only commute vehicle i got right now. I gotta get this linkage thing taken care of yesteray. Any ideas/info is greatly appreciated!
