No limit FI tank vs the ECE FI Tank

I'm planning to swap a LSx engine into my 1971 truck. I would like to run an in-tank fuel pump. My first choice would be to run an in-tank pump in the tank behind the seat. If that isn't possible, I would run a blazer style tank with an in-tank pump.

Has anyone successfully installed an in-tank fuel pump in the stock, behind the seat on a 67-72 truck? Is it critical to use a baffled tank?

As far as blazer style tanks go, I have been considering either a No Limit or an ECE tank, but am open to other options.

No limit sells an EFI sumped tank and LS series fuel pump that will fit my 71 SWB. My only reservation is the aluminum construction. Should the tank being built of aluminum be a concern. Ideally, I would like the gas tank to out last me. The price is right on the No Limit gast tank, but I do not know anyone running run. http://www.nolimit.net/prodinfo.asp?number=TNK%2DEFI

From a search, the ECE Stainless Steel tanks seem pretty popular and well-built. I called ECE and they recommended their sumped tank, and then purchasing the GM ful pump for whichever vehicle the engine came out of. I asked, and was told that any of the common GM pumps would work. I don't have any experience whatsoever with late model engines and in-tank fuel pumps.

Can anyone with experience with the ECE tanks confirm the ability of the tanks to accept truck/Camaro/GTO in-tank pumps. Or, could you recommend a good fitting in-tank pump for an LSx engine?

TIA

Wes
