Hello from Kentucky
I want to start by saying this website and forum ROCKS!!!!
I am from KY and I have been a chevy guy since birth. My dad has always driven chevy and I am following in his footsteps. When I was 13 we started a total frame off resto of a 1957 chevy Bel-Air 2 door hard top. After three and a half years, we finally finished it. I will post pics of it soon. After that High School, girls, then college, and then life took over, leaving me little time for projects. But now I am an established business owner and I have managed to find time for a new project. My Project is a 1987 Chevy Crew Cab SWB. I know that this is nothing new to you guys on the forum, but people in my area have never seen a truck like this. I have so HUGE shoes to fill in order to get even close to the quailty of some of the truck I have seen here, but I will try. Here are a few specs for my truck. 87 crew cab swb, 3/4 ton C-20 chassis, later model FI 350 from a 91 burb with Hedmen Header, 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust through Flowmasters, Tilt and cruise column, PW, PDL, keyless entry, currently running a 4/3 drop, plan on taking the front down 2 more. I am running 20" x 9.5" up front with 22" x 10" out back. Welded in roll pan, custom aluminum bed cover is beening fabricated as I type. Lots of other goodies are coming. I will be posting some pics of my work in progress soon. Thanks, I can't wait to talk it up with you guys! |
