New Guy from NY

I am new to the site and at first glance it looks like a valuable resource for advice, parts and networking with like minded people.

I have always worked on vehicles but I have just begun a new and special project. I have just acquired and started evaluating a restoration project on my father-in-law's 1968 C10. Unfortunately he pasted away a few years ago and the truck has been sitting wasting away. At this point it will not be the foundation of my build, but a irreplaceable donor vehicle. I have always admired this era of truck but I have a lot to learn. I appriciate any advice that anyone wants to share.

Thanks in advance and look forward to spending some time researching the site.
