62' chevy truck with 72' front suspension ?? (brake lines)

I finally got off my lazy butt and am nearing the end of the conversion when I run into trouble with the brake lines. I still have the 62' master cylinder and 72' front suspension and brakes.

Should I run the hardlines on the back of the crossmemer like the 62' and steal the tabs off the 62' crossmember and put them on the 72' and buy 62' rubber hoses?

OR

Run the hardlines on the front of the crossmember like its supposed to be on the 72' and buy 72' rubber hoses, plus extened the hard line going to the rear brakes to the front of the crossmember and have it junction up there.

If this all sounds confusing and you have done this swap, just tell me how you ran your front brake line and hoses. Also tell me what rubber hoses you used, 72' or 62'.

Also did you redo the upper shock mount on the frame? If so what did you pull the mount off of?
