Need Help with aft door gap
I am trying to install my rocker panels and am having difficulty. I have a 1/2 inch gap at the aft end of both doors. The gap is consistent from top to bottom so I am wondering what to do?
Do I shim the door 3/8" of an inch or is there some other trick? Looking down on the aft door pillar, it appears that the pillar is not perpindicular to the floor pans. I feel like I should try and make this perpindicular and the door gap will be corrected as well. How would I do this? Should I mechanically move it and then weld. I feel this would put a lot of stress on the rocker. I have already made all the adjustments I can on the door hinges. I have replaced the lower pillars F/R, outer floor pans, kick panels, and cab corners. Any help and experience appreciated. |
