Small back window question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys,
So I used to have a truck on here a few years back and know quite a bit about them. Anyways I am in the market for a 67-72 short fleet and came across a 69 on craiglist in the SF bay area that has a small back window. I wrote the owner asking if the cab was swapped or the front clip or what the deal was do to the small rear window. He told me, it is a correct year 69 small back window cab because Cal-Trans (California department of transportation) could order them like that and that's what the body shop or something told him.
So anyways I was just curious if to anyone had a knowledge regarding something like this...
