New from Austin, Texas.
Hey all,
Just picked up a 1972 GMC Sierra yesterday in San Antonio and drove it home. It's a LWB in Medium green and white with a saddle brown Cheyenne option interior...funky combo but I think I like it! Truck is very original, nicely worn with only one repair spot I can find so far. Do beleive it's an original SA truck as it's got a dealer bumper on it. Still has the original engine, rebuilt original trans, all the factory stickers and even the assembly line chalk marks on the firewall! Plan is to do a little tune up work, fix the AC/heat and interior bits and drive the snot out of it! ;-) I owned a 72 LWB cheyenne from 94-97 when I lived in San Antonio before moving to California. Been wanting another ever since. I also drive a 62 cadillac and am building another one...also buy and fix up/part out late 50's to early 6o's cadillacs. Guess that's all...heres a quick pic from this morning...the 95 in the background is going up for sale tomorrow!!!! Bryan |
